Welcome

The Guidance and Counseling Department is staffed by five professional counselors, two learning support teachers, and an administrative assistant. Students are assigned to a counselor based on an alphabetic division, who will work with them throughout their high school career. Learning support teachers are also assigned alphabetically, and can assist all students, although their particular emphasis is to help students with learning differences.
Counselors are prepared to help students with personal, academic and college admissions issues. While the majority of contact with counselors is on an individual basis, programs are planned both during school and outside of the school to aid students with their college decision making process.
