Mathematics

The goal of the CCHS math department is to prepare students for the future by providing them with a variety of mathematical experiences. Students from Algebra I through AP Calculus learn math by doing and experiencing math. Our math curriculum is designed to challenge students to achieve at their highest level through experiential and conventional methods. In addition to traditional instruction, teachers provide these opportunities through the use of calculators, computers and course appropriate manipulatives.

In 2011-2012, all incoming freshmen will be required to have a TI-Inspire calculator. Both the blue TI-nspire with Clickpad and the black TI-nspire with Touchpad are acceptable. Please do not purchase a TI-nspire CAS or TI-nspire CX. For additional product information, follow the link below.
