TASTE of CHARLOTTE CATHOLIC
Coming May 18, 2012. Join us for a special event -- the annual TASTE OF CHARLOTTE CATHOLIC, featuring tastes from local eateries with CCHS connections. Tickets and more info can be found here.

Mother-Daughter Tea & Fashion Show
This sell-out event, hosted by the CCHS Foundation, was a great success! More than 120 mothers, daughters, grandmothers, aunts, sisters and girlfriends attended this first-time event at Charlotte Catholic High School. Guests enjoyed a fashion show with informal modeling by some of our students, mothers and grandmothers during the luncheon. Clothing was provided by Cottage Chic, Ivy & Leo, KK Bloom Boutique, Mack and Mack, Monkees of Morrocroft and Sloan Boutique. Accessories by Amore dei Cani and Michael Kors. Hair and makeup by Charles Grayson European Spa Salon.

Ladies also enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by Rotelli's. Desserts were provided by Suarez Bakery. Tea was provided by McAlister's Deli and Urbana City Spa & Tea Bar.

Guest speaker Pat Rodgers, President & CEO of Rodgers Builders, spoke about the unwavering strength of her mother, the importance of community service and the challenges she has faced working in a predominately-male construction industry.

Special Emcee Natalie Chepul announced lucky raffle winners who were treated to wonderful prizes donated by Amore dei Cani, Charles Grayson European Spa Salon, Ivy & Leo, KK Bloom Boutique, Michael Kors, Macy’s, Mack and Mack, Monkees of Morrocroft, Perry's of SouthPark, Mrs. Bettie Prendrgast and Urbana City Spa & Tea Bar.

Attendees also enjoyed photographs by So Bella Photography in the school’s courtyard. Proceeds from the event will be used to enhance the courtyard with a landscape design by Lambeth Marshall, including arbors, a knot garden, confederate jasmine, azaleas, benches, gardenias and a special area to memorialize alumni who have passed away.

Ladies also participated in a fierce competition to create stunning table décor. Best table went to "Team Sassy Hatters" with a playful Alice in Wonderland theme.

Newcomers Wine Reception
Freshman parents and parents new to Charlotte Catholic are invited to an annual Newcomers Wine Reception, typically held in November. This year's event was held on November 3 at St. Gabriel's parish center from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This is always a great way to meet new parents. A special thanks to John McLaughlin and Ca'Momi wines for donating to this event!
