    To provide awareness about cancer and offer support to those with cancer and the family friends of those

   who suffer from this disease.

    Dedicated to fun and laughter, this club will make comedic videos and is open to all interested in comedy

    and videography.

    will do labs and projects for national competitions.

   This wonderful club is for those who love animals...and are dedicated to working with, protecting and

   assisting all of  God’s creatures!

    This service club focuses on holding clothing drives to donate to the agency who helps the needy and

    homeless throughout the Charlotte area.  They will take monthly trips to sort clothes and donations.

     This club emphasizes awareness for various nationalities and  ethnic groups especially through their

     cultures & art & get involved with the City of  Charlotte diversity programs. Open to all, regardless of

    heritage or national origin.   It’s a great way to get to know other cultures and make new friends.

   Jrs and Srs who have volunteered to be role models to their peers by educating the students of MACS on the

  dangers of  drugs, alcohol and tobacco (DAT).  Students will be asked to sign a pledge to remain drug free.

  “Encountering Christ by Helping Others” is this service club!  A variety of projects are offered & members

    should be willing to attend a project at least once a month.  Habitat for Humanity, Catherine’s Helpers and

    more are offered under this Club!

    This club handles recycling efforts at CCHS and has adopted some of McMullen Creek for the Big Sweep

    each  year.  Funds raised also promote awareness for various missions in Zambia which also promotes

    good stewardship of resources and education in developing regions.

     This Christian club called “Fellowship of Christian Athletes” offers our athletes opportunities to

     thank God  for their abilities through fellowship and service...be prepared to be helpful!

     This club celebrates our Latin culture and offers its help through service with our annual Blood Drive.

     Students apply to serve as Lectors, Altar Servers and Ministers of Holy Communion for all of our school

     masses and prayer services. Students will be notified of training!

     This international organization is designed to enhance participants’ knowledge of global issues.  Students

     participate in “mock” United Nations simulations and represent other countries’ issues which offers

    awards!

Operation Smile                                            open to all                             Mr. David Smith    #225

    This organization of doctors travel to third world countries to correct children with cleft lips or palates.

   Our main function is support through fundraisers and bring awareness of  this need to others.

   Our Club is for those students who enjoy the outdoors such as hiking,, camping, climbing, skiing and more

   5-6 trips are planned throughout the year; some day trips and some overnight.. Possibilities are endless!

Peer Mentors                                                open to all                             MJ Dawson, Campus Ministry

   Know what it’s like to be a new student...help others as they arrive at CCHS.  Peer Mentors are assigned 

   by grade level and asked to offer a tour, have lunch with and basically orient new students to CCHS.     

  Applications are available in Campus Ministry.

   A book club with a Catholic twist. “P3” breaks bread once a quarter to discuss literature with spiritual

   themes and ideas.  Each meeting co-chaired by one of our local religious.

    This club is interested in all areas of science and prepares for a variety of competitions including

    knowledge, lab analysis or building projects.

     This club provides year round sports training for children and adults with physical and intellectual

    disabilities. The goal is to develop friendships and help them learn new skills.

     When you sing, you pray twice…what a great way to praise God!  Youth sing for our School Masses.

      Practices are required after school.

    This service club sets-up chairs and stage for school events held in the gym.  The club celebrates their

    accomplishments by attending Carowinds at the end of the school year.

    Members support respect for human life in all ways from womb to tomb. We work with other pro-life

    agencies and attend March for Life in Washington.

    Students create and experience an informative biweekly news program.  Serious students should apply.

 

Wounded Warrior Project                         open to all                             Mrs. Cona  # 527

    Students will support critically injured military veterans with emotional, spiritual and financial

    support by raising funds, sending care packages and writing letters, etc.

    Express your political views in this republican club and sway views in the “right” direction.  Many

    activities designed to help get out and vote, educate voters and support our troops.

   For those interested in all things Zombie!  Activities include watching horror videos, playing zombie

   video games and discussing strategies against zombie invasions!
