Coach Glossner was named the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Charlotte Catholic in August of 2016. He is entering his 6th season at the helm of the Cougar Baseball program. Glossner served as an assistant coach under longtime head coach, Randy Belk, for several years. Glossner also serves as the Assistant Principal at Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School.
Glossner graduated from Canisius College in NY, and he resides in Fort Mill with his wife, Amber, and daughters Madden and Piper.
Coach Hull is entering his second season on staff at Catholic. He is the Head JV Coach and a varsity assistant for the Cougars. He helps with all aspects of our program.
Hull was born and raised in Charlotte. He attended Charlotte Catholic and was a three-year letterman under longtime skipper Randy Belk. Hull was first team All-State in 2012, along with being named the MEGA 7 Conference Player of the Year. Hull played one year of junior college baseball at Louisburg College, followed by three years for the Charlotte 49ers.
Hull graduated from Charlotte in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, and he also received an MBA from Wingate University in 2019.
Coach Hull is a business education teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School. He previously served as an assistant baseball coach at Queens University of Charlotte, under head coach Ross Steedley.
Hull has coached and done lessons throughout the Charlotte area since graduating from college in 2017. He also owns the Queen City Baseball Club and Eddie Hull Baseball Camps.
Coach Hull lives in Charlotte with his wife, Cassidy.Chuck Rinehimer
Chuck Rinehimer is back in the dugout at Catholic, bringing over 20 years of coaching experience to Charlotte Catholic. This will be Rinehimer's 9th season at Catholic, but his first since 2020. Chuck previously spent 8 years as a varsity assistant with the Cougars (2013-2020).
Chuck is from Hazelton, Pa. He played college baseball for the Ohio Valley Fighting Scots from 1994-98. Rinehimer played under Coach Bob Crawford while at OVU and was a three-time All-American as a shortstop in the NSCAA. During his career at OVU, Rinehimer recorded 35 career home runs and a phenomenal career fielding percentage of .982. Chuck was inducted into the Ohio Valley Athletics Hall of Fame in 2016.
Coach Rinehimer started his coaching career (2001-2007) at Lewisville HS in South Carolina, where he was a JV head coach and varsity assistant. He then moved onto South Pointe HS in Rock Hill as a varsity assistant in 2008 and 2009. Chuck then got into the collegiate ranks, coaching in the SCBL for the Carolina Sox. The SCBL (Southern Collegiate Baseball League) is a summer wood bat league for high-level college players. He was an assistant in the summer of 2010 for the Sox and took over as the head coach in 2011 and 2012. Chuck most recently was in the dugout at Charlotte Catholic HS, spending 8 years as a varsity assistant with the Cougars (2013-2020).
Chuck is a 6th grade math teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School, and resides with his wife, Kelly, and his two sons, in Rock Hill.Coach Christmas has been a teacher and coach at Charlotte Catholic for 29 years. He teaches PE and Health classes at CCHS, and serves as a varsity baseball assistant coach, primarily working with our pitching staff. He also served as the head JV basketball coach from 1996-2001, as well as the offensive coordinator with the football program from 2014-2022.
Christmas became the Athletic Director at Charlotte Catholic in 2000, presiding over 80 state championships over the years. He was inducted into the CCHS Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018. Coach Christmas graduated from Elon, and resides in Charlotte with his wife, Liane. They have three children: twins Jack and Georgialee '16, and Lindsay '18.
Coach Chuttey is currently a physical education teacher and the Athletic Director at Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School, where he has been since 2002. He has coached in various capacities at Holy Trinity and Charlotte Catholic. He has been on the Charlotte Catholic Football staff, where he has coached the defensive line, since 2003. In that time, Catholic has won 12 regional championships and 7 state championships.
Coach Chuttey coached baseball at Holy Trinity for 4 years, and has been an assistant JV baseball coach at Catholic for 5 years. He is also an NCHSAA and SCHSL state certified umpire. Chuttey has umpired multiple NCHSAA and SCHSL high school playoff games and 2 state quarterfinals.
Coach Chuttey attended Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, where he earned a degree in physical education and teaching and played safety for the Golden Griffins football team. He was also a 3-time all-county pitcher/third baseman at Port Byron High School, in NY. He is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Sports Administration from Ohio University.Cory Gantz
Coach Gantz was named an assistant coach at Catholic in September of 2022. Coach Gantz is our bullpen coach and helps coordinate our pitching efforts through the year. Cory is a native of Lancaster, PA and played collegiately at UNC Wilmington. Gantz graduated from UNCW in 2017 and currently works in the Charlotte area. Cory's wife, Beth, graduated from Charlotte Catholic in 2012. Cory, Beth, and daughter Margot live in Charlotte.
Coach Hazel is the CCHS Strength and Conditioning coach. He works with all sports, with a primary focus on football and baseball. Hazel has been at Catholic since 2016, previously working as a sports performance coach at Duke and ECU.
Hazel graduated from Charlotte Catholic in 2005. Upon graduating from Catholic, he attended East Carolina University where he received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. Hazel was also a preferred walk on with ECU Football before making the switch to lacrosse.
He also received a Master’s Degree from California University of Pennsylvania in Exercise Science.
Hazel is currently certified through The National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and also as a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach. He also holds certifications as a Level II Speed and Agility Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, and Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist.
Coach Hazel's utilizes TeamBuildr, an app designed to guide athletes through a workout plan, and keeps track of every lift and metric taken in the weight room. Hazel's programs are a dynamic piece to our player development system at Catholic.
Hazel also does private strength and conditioning sessions through his company, Elite Sports Performance, LLC.
