Mrs. Christine Parks

Ms. Parks was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, where she attended Catholic School from grades K-12.  She earned her BA in Child Studies at Santa Clara University and her MA in School Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy at Saint Mary's College of California.  Ms. Parks began her career as a Counselor at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco.  In 2010, the Parks returned to her husband's native North Carolina to settle and raise a family.  Ms. Parks most recently worked as Counselor and Scholarship Coordinator at Marvin Ridge High School.  She has been an active volunteer with Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as a 2019 Man & Woman of the Year candidate and most recently LLS Student of the Year Leadership Team Chair.  In her spare time, Ms. Parks works with SportsBiz Camps to assist underrepresented high school students with college applications and scholarship processes.  Ms. Parks loves to travel to the beach with her husband, Greg, and two young children, Jameson and Georgia.
