The assessment for Honors Algebra 2 will be offered Tuesday, February 5 at 6:50am, Wednesday, February 6 at 2:45pm, and Thursday, February 7 at 2:45pm. Students should report to Room 314 and will be assigned to a testing room. The test should take approximately 45 minutes. Any student wanting to be considered for Honors Algebra 2 must attend one of these testing sessions.

Honors Algebra II
Grade: 10th and 11th
Required Prerequisites: Advanced Geometry with a minimum A- test average and department approval.
Quality Points: A = 5
This rigorous course is designed for students who possess a strong work ethic and ability to think critically and includes the in depth study of linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, radical, rational and trigonometric functions; complex numbers; correlation and regression; normal models; and confidence intervals for proportions and means. Candidates who meet the above prerequisites must take a qualifying Algebra I Skills assessment. Acceptance into this course is contingent on the candidate’s performance on the qualifying assessment.
