Mr. Kurt Telford - Head of School

President Kurt Telford has been an administrator at Charlotte Catholic since 2014. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut. He received a Master's Degree from State SUNY Geneseo and has since continued post-graduate work at UNC-Greensboro and North Carolina A&T. He has served the role of Principal at various schools since 1993. Mr. Telford believes that "as educators, our mission is to teach and guide students so they can see beyond today. My goal is that EVERY student who attends Charlotte Catholic will graduate with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in their next endeavor whether it is a service academy, ivy league school , or a technical/community college."

Dr. Alicia H. Reid - Assistant Principal

Dr. Alicia Reid is originally from the Bronx, NY. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Belmont Abbey College and her Master’s and PhD from UNC Charlotte. She taught in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for many years in elementary and high school. In addition to teaching, she’s been an Instructional Support Coach, Dean of Instruction, and an Assistant Principal. Dr. Reid served as the interim principal at St. Patrick Catholic School from March 2022 to June 2023.

Mr. Steven Knight - Assistant Principal

A native of Charleston, South Carolina, attended Bishop England High School (’83). He holds a Political Science degree from Presbyterian College (BS '87). Directly after college, he worked as a retail manager, a probation and parole officer, and a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer. He left law enforcement determined to influence the lives of children. He earned a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT '97) and a Master of Education in Leadership (M.Ed. '07) from Winthrop University, and a Master of Strategic Studies (MS '21) from the United States Army War College. Mr. Knight has spent the last 27 years in the Rock Hill School District, where he taught Social Studies and coached baseball for eight years. He has been an assistant principal at the high school level for the last 19 years. He retired on September 01, 2024, after 29 years of service as a United States Army Reserve Colonel. He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. His last assignment was as the Mission Command Support Group (MCSG) Brigade Commander for the 81st Readiness Division.

Mrs. Stephanie Hogg - Director of Business Operations

Office Manager Stephanie Hogg has been with MACS since 2010 and with Charlotte Catholic since 2015. She has two daughters who went through the MACS system and graduated from CCHS (2017 and 2019). Stephanie's siblings and husband are also CCHS alumni. She earned her Batchelors of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Stephanie's favorite thing to do is spend time with her family. She is happy to be a part of the Charlotte Catholic community where she can have a part in shaping today's youth and center the day around Our Lord and prayer.

Mrs. Jennifer Cramer

Jenn Cramer ’88 serves as the Registrar at Charlotte Catholic High School. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. She is in her eleventh year at Charlotte Catholic, where she spent her first five years in the Development Office and the past six years as the Registrar. With a deep-rooted connection to Catholic education in Charlotte, Mrs. Cramer is an alumna of both Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School and Charlotte Catholic High School. Her daughter, Lindsay ’17, is an alumna of St. Matthew Catholic School, Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School, and Charlotte Catholic High School. She finds immense joy in being part of the Charlotte Catholic Community, where each day is anchored in the Catholic faith and fosters a nurturing learning environment.

Mrs. Maria Perez

Maria was born and raised in Toledo, OH (Go Buckeyes!) by Cuban immigrant parents. She came to CCHS from 12 years of bookkeeping/accounting at St. Anne Catholic School/Parish in Rock Hill, SC. She manages the online school store, Athletics' bookkeeping and the club accounts. She also manages the Square and HomeTown Tix accounting. Maria is mother to two CCHS graduates, Alex 2010 and Isabela 2019. She lives in Lake Wylie, SC with her husband. Her favorite thing about Charlotte Catholic HS is the caring, family-like environment among her coworkers.
