Student hours are 7:40- 2:35.

The day begins with students going to their homeroom for attendance, morning prayer, and announcements. Students then attend seven 47-minute classes. There is one general break for all students between C and D period, and later in the afternoon, students attend their assigned lunch time.

Carpool Information

Each student will receive their class schedule from their homeroom teacher. Most of the time, this schedule lists all of the classes a student will attend for the entire school year. Specifically for the first semester, students should only focus on classes that are listed ( ) and SEM1. You will also see a letter in the same line as a class to indicate which period you will be attending.

Room numbers indicate the following:

• 100-300: Located in the main building, where 100 is 1st floor, 200 is the 2nd floor, and 300 is the third floor
• 400: Located by the gym before passing the Wrestling and Weight Rooms
• 500: Located in the wing past the cafeteria and main stairwell; The second digit indicates the floor, e.g. 510 is 1st floor, 520 is second floor, and 530 is third floor.
• 600: Located in the Fine Arts Center; The second digit indicates the floor, e.g. 610 is 1st floor and 620 is 2nd floor.

Some rooms will be indicated by a shorthand identifier:

• WGT refers to the Weight Rooms, located past the gym and before the Fine Arts Center
• MEDIA refers to the Tech Media Center, also known as the library, located across from the cafeteria

• Breakfast will be available in the cafeteria 7:00 – 10:30 AM each day.
• A full menu of cafeteria items is available during lunchtime.

Service hours are a requirement to graduate from CCHS.

It is through Jesus’ example of service that we are called to serve. “Just so, the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28). We are called to imitate Christ in all things, and because He spent His life in constant service, we must spend our lives serving others just as Christ taught us. Service is at the very core of our identity as Catholics, which is why we make it a priority here at Charlotte Catholic. 

• Annual Requirement: Each year, students in grades 9–12 are required to complete and submit service hours, with at least 5 hours designated as Parish Service. Freshmen will submit 10 hours. Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors will submit 20 hours each year.
• Graduation Requirement: To graduate, students must complete a total of 70 approved service hours over four years. (Total hours will be adjusted if years enrolled is less than four).
• Submission Deadline: Each year service hours must be submitted by March 1st to be logged and approved.
• Documentation Requirement: Students will be required to document the service activity (pictures may be included) on Canvas.
• Service Opportunities: Campus Ministry will assist in finding service opportunities for students, including parish hours for students that do not have a home parish. Students should consult the Campus Ministry Coordinator regarding if an activity is approved or non-approved.

Campus Ministry

Typically, incoming Freshmen will receive their school issued Macbooks and email addresses during Freshmen Orientation (in August prior to the first day of school).

New Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors will receive these during their New Student Orientation (in August prior to the first day of school).

Canvas

Students will be instructed to access Canvas through an internet browser on their school issued MacBooks. However, we also recommend that students also down the Canvas by Instructure application on their smart devices.

Google Suite

Students' school issued email addresses (20XX.name@cchsemail.org) are connected to the Google Suite. Students should download the Google Suite apps on their smart devices for ease of access to communications through Gmail and to files in their Google Drive.
