Camp Boomerang Program - Brace Family YMCA Seeking Volunteers for the Camp Boomerang Program. Camp Boomerang is a powerful program that provides a summer day camp experience to children with diverse abilities who will get to experience the joy of making new camp friends and having meaningful role models while engaging in safe, fun summer camp activities for the very first time. Volunteers will be buddies to campers with diverse abilities to provide support as they participate in age-appropriate activities that include nature, parachute, field sports, tower, arts and crafts, fishing and swimming alongside enrichment activities.

Camp SOAR - June 9-13, 2025: Camp SOAR (Special Olympics Athlete Retreat) offers Special Olympics athletes two sessions of summer activities in early June at the Levine Jewish Community Center. Visit Camp SOAR Volunteer Registration for additional information. Direct any questions to Jeremy Kuhn.
- Central Piedmont's Free 4-week Summer 2025 STEM Prep Program - June 17-July 17, 2025: STEM Prep will give participants an introduction to STEM topics at the college level. The summer session will be held for 4 weeks starting June 17 - July 17, 2025, in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm - 5:15pm. Also including lunch on Central Piedmont's Central Campus. STEM Prep completers will be given priority consideration for admission as a scholarshipped Honeywell STEM Academy Fellow for fall 2025.
- Cougar Basketball Camp - June 9-12, 2025: This camp is open to girls ages 7-14 and is a great opportunity for young athletes to develop their basketball skills while having fun with our players and coaches.
- Cougar Dance and Spirit Camp - June 9-12, 2025: The camp will include the following: 4 day dance and spirit experience with instruction
in stations, team bonding group activities, daily snack, team t-shirt, pep rally/reception on the last day, and an invitation to perform at the halftime of the first home Varsity football game of the 2025-2026 season.

St. Gabriel Vacation Bible School Volunteer - June 16-20, 2025: Applications are open for teen volunteers to help run VBS at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. It is a wonderful opportunity for young men and women to help mentor younger children. Please consider signing up to help make VBS a wonderful experience!
