Club Description: Good Reads Club strives to foster a love of reading outside of school by giving book recommendations and encouraging members to trade books with one another. Good Reads Club hosts a yearly children's book drive as well as other service opportunities.
Medical Pathways Club

Club Description: This club is for students who have an interested in in pursuing careers in healthcare and the medical sciences. Through engaging activities, hands-on learning opportunities, and meaningful community service, members will gain early exposure to the many pathways within the medical field.
Each month, the club will host guest speakers, including medical professionals such as nurses, physicians, EMTs, therapists, researchers, and other healthcare experts. These speakers will share their career journeys, provide valuable advice, and offer insight into real-world medical environments.
As part of our commitment to service, we will help ShineLikeJane.org. Together, we will support individuals experiencing homelessness within the Garinger High School community by collecting clothing and toiletries to be distributed to those in need. This project allows students to practice empathy, leadership, and social responsibility—core values in the medical profession.
We welcome any student with curiosity, passion, or interest in helping others. Join us as we learn, serve, and take steps toward a future in healthcare!

Club Description: The Music Production Club gives students hands-on experience with the full creative process of making music. Using digital audio workstations (DAWs), microphones, audio interfaces, and instruments, members will write, record, and produce their own original songs. The club’s work will showcase in a concert featuring all-original student compositions, with proceeds donated to charity. This club is perfect for students interested in songwriting, sound design, or audio engineering.

Club Description: The purpose of the Clash Club is to bring together students who share an interest in a popular video game. Members support a charitable cause by purchasing club shirts, with proceeds going to charity. New members learn how to get started and play the game, while experienced players have the opportunity to compete against others at a similar skill level. The club members meet once a month in room 208 where they play video games while talking about potential future ideas.

Club Description: This club meets once per month, in room 300, typically after school. The club is advised by a CCHS faculty member with the help of one student who acts as the club's officer. Each meeting consists of prayer, for hospitalized children, the creating of arts, crafts, and cards, and fellowship between the club members. The arts, crafts, and cards' themes center on most of the general calendar's national holidays (Thanksgiving cards and crafts with messages of thanks).
The club is intended to bring awareness to the number of hospitalized children, develop our vocation to serve our brother and sisters in need, and to be ever more grateful for the blessings, one being health, in our own lives.

Club Description: The Habitat for Humanity club focuses on service opportunities revolving around the construction of houses as well as volunteer work within various restore departments around the Charlotte area. The goal for this club is to help supply affordable housing as well as furniture and appliances to families in need. If you are simply looking for opportunities that will help you complete your yearly service hours or want to get your hands dirty on a construction site with the purpose of helping others, this is the club for you.

Club Description: The Helping with Mom's in Needs Club is a club that partners with the Walking With Mom's in Need organization at St. Matthews. We offer service hours through this organization, where we help moms who are in need of necessities such as diapers, and clothes for their babies and toddlers. This club offers opportunities to collect and distribute these needed items to local mothers.

Club Description: The Photography Club creates an opportunity for students to build a community of
interest through exploring the world of photography. The club establishes a venue for
amateur student photographers to learn about the latest developments in cameras, image
editing software, and photographic technology and to hone their skills shooting a wide
variety of school and community events and activities on and off campus. Members are
encouraged to photograph campus and school related events, including sports, drama,
music programs, service programs and other school events. The club also provides a
setting for sharing images and making those images available for the wider school
community.

Club Description: The St. Augustine Club inspires students to deepen their relationship with Christ through prayer and service. Named after Saint Augustine’s transformation from doubt to faith, the club encourages teens to seek truth, purpose, and a living faith in their daily lives. The club seeks to meet at least once monthly to pray the Rosary after school, along with several service opportunities throughout the year.

Club Description: Sew fun is a club that teaches people how to sew and use a sewing machine. During
this club we will make things like mini pillows, pencil cases, and more. We will be donating all of our completed projects to Saint Judes Children's Hospital at the end of the year as our service project. Our club promotes learning new hobbies and skills that will be with you forever. The officers of our club are Angela Barletta and Jenna Poole, and our advisor is Kimberly Mirizio. We will be meeting during break every few weeks.
Campus Ministry Club
Campus Ministry Club invites everyone/anyone to attend our Monthly Event. Each monthly event will consist of these three elements: (Formation, Fellowship, & Faith).
Within the Campus Ministry Club there are also some opportunities for people to get involved in more specific ministries, including: (Sons of St Joseph, Daughters of Mary, & Peer Ministry).
