Counseling
Welcome to Counseling Services
Charlotte Catholic has six counselors who work with students, by alphabetical division, throughout their high school careers. Counselors provide academic, college, and personal counseling to students.
Academic Counseling
Charlotte Catholic is a college-preparatory school, thus a large part of our counselors' job is focused on preparing students for admission to post-secondary institutions. This involves both academic and college counseling. Counselors work with students throughout high school to help them choose their courses and explore their post-high school educational and career opportunities.
College Counseling
The college search can be an enjoyable and exciting process; deciding which schools would be good match for a student, academically, emotionally and socially, is one of the main roles of CCHS counselors. The process takes time, thought, hard work, and attention to detail. Working with the counselors and utilizing school resources will help make the process smooth for students and parents.
Personal Counseling
High school is a time of growth and change for each student. Students may face social and personal situations. Counselors are available to assist students with these issues, as well as to make referrals as needed.
