Health and Wellness
Your health and well-being are an important part of finding success in high school! To manage stress, be sure you:
1. Get enough sleep - The National Sleep Foundation recommends that teens get 8-10 hours of sleep per night to function best.
2. Eat healthy - Teens are rapidly growing and need adequate nutrition for healthy brain and body development. Check out Healthy Eating for Teens
3. Manage your time - Especially if you are involved in a lot of activities outside of school, it is important that you budget enough time for schoolwork. Here are some helpful suggestions.
4. Find positive outlets - Spend time with friends, exercise, play with your pet... whatever it is that makes you happy, try to find time to enjoy life.
