Principal Kurt Telford has been an administator at Charlotte Catholic since 2014.  He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut. He received a Master's Degree from State SUNY Geneseo and has since continued post-graduate work at UNC-Greensboro and North Carolina A&T. He has served the role of Principal at various schools since 1993.  Mr. Telford believes that "as educators, our mission is to teach and guide students so they can see beyond today.  My goal is that EVERY student who attends Charlotte Catholic will graduate with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in their next endeavor whether it is a service academy, ivy league school , or a technical/community college." 

Assistant Principal, Dr. Maria M. Leahy has been at Charlotte Catholic High School as an administrator since 2018.  She has been an educator for more than 35 years in New York and North Carolina, both as a teacher and administrator; she taught in the Mecklenburg Area Catholic School system at St. Ann.  A longtime resident of Charlotte, Dr. Leahy holds a Masters in Reading from the New York State University of Cortland and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from UNC-Charlotte.  She has written and published several educational books and articles. Dr. Leahy is a CCHS parent of two daughters, Alessondra (Alley) ’06 and Lucia ’10 and a grandparent of potential future Cougars!

Mr. Conrad begins the 2021-2022 school year as our new Dean of Students.  Mr. Conrad began his teaching career at Charlotte Catholic in 2005 in our Theology department. Mr. Conrad has received a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Clemson University, 2004 and a Master of Science in Religion and Religious Education from Fordham University, 2008. Currently, Mr. Conrad coaches Cross Country and Varsity Girls Basketball. Mr. Conrad and Wife, Lindsey are Charlotte Catholic alumni.
