Meet the Advancement Team

Mrs. Sally McArdle

Raised in Ohio, Sally McArdle is in her 10th year as Director of Advancement at CCHS. She began a career in philanthropic work as an undergraduate, helping to start a cross-country bike trip (PUSH America) to raise money for people with disabilities. After graduating from Bowling Green State University in Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, she moved to Charlotte to continue her work for PUSH America as development director and then executive director, followed by several years at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. She has certificates from the Institute of Philanthropy and is a CFRE (Certified Fund-Raising Executive.) She enjoys being a part of the extended Catholic community who makes a difference in the lives of CCHS students. She and her husband, Pete ’87, are both products of Catholic education, St. Gabriel parishioners and proud parents of four children who attended St. Gabriel, HTCMS and CCHS - Jack ’17, Molly ’18, Kevin ’21 and Kate ’24.

Mrs. Jane Carano

Originally from Washington DC, Jane, her husband Mark and 2 children moved to Charlotte in 2013. After attending Catholic Schools from Kindergarten to 12th grade in Washington, she graduated from Vanderbilt University. Jane worked in politics and higher education, then served in various volunteer capacities with community and school organizations while her children (Michael CCHS ’20 and Emily CCHS ’23) were young. She joined the CCHS Advancement Office in 2018. Jane currently handles Admissions Marketing and Parent and Alumni engagement as well CCHS programs within the Advancement Department.

Mrs. Kerry Winslow

The Assistant Director of Advancement and Communications, Kerry Winslow began working at Charlotte Catholic in 2022. Raised in Upstate New York, Kerry studied Political Science at Nazareth College and the University of North Carolina in Charlotte. After more than 15 years in the financial services sector, she founded a consulting practice that helped companies be their best through strategic planning and organizational leadership. An avid community volunteer, Kerry began working in the non-profit sector in 2018, earning a Non-Profit Essentials certificate from Wake Forest Business School and discovering a passion for philanthropy. Kerry lives in Charlotte with her husband, David, their three children, and their sweet rescue dog, Eddie.

Mrs. Alison Fey

Born in Louisville, Ky, Alison, has lived in Charlotte since 1984. She and her husband, Mike, have 2 children (Michael CCHS ’20 and Millie CCHS ’22) who also attended St. Patrick Catholic School and Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School. Alison graduated from Belmont Abbey College then worked in the finance industry until deciding to stay home with her children full time. When she wasn’t managing the household she spent most of her free time volunteering in her neighborhood and for her children’s schools and athletic teams. She joined the CCHS Advancement office in May 2023 as the Data Manager.
